endless trails on horseback. Bring along your camera as you experience
the breathtaking canyons, incredible rock formations and scenic ridge
top views that stretch in all directions...as far as the eye can see. Learn
a little history, hear a little folklore, and have a dog-gone good time!
The qualified
wranglers at the Gallatin River Ranch Equestrian Center will match a horse
specifically to your riding ability and skill level. Tours can be arranged
to fit your schedule, whether you would like to ride for an hour or full
day.

WHAT TO BRING ON YOUR HORSEBACK RIDING ADVENTURE:
They say, “If
you don’t like the current weather conditions in Montana, wait an hour!”
With that being said, layered clothing is optimal. You will need to be
prepared for both warm and cold temperatures, as well as rain. Your basic
items should include a comfortable riding boot (no tennis shoes, please),
an insulated jacket, polar fleece vest, lightweight rain slicker, hat,
polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle and camera. Forget something?
